GLF’s agency force gets pump with mid-year sales rallies

Hopeful and determined, would be the best adjectives describing the air in two events of Great Life Financial; the Special Market Group’s and Branches' Mid-year Sales Kick off/ Sales Rally. This year’s mid-year celebration was unmistakably gearing towards one solid idea: delivering positive results through positive mindset. Great Life Financial has endured the setbacks of the current economic turmoil by meeting if not exceeding targets for the year in the past quarters. However, the company has never been complacent despite these milestones. And to strengthen more the caliber of its agency force, both mid-year celebrations were themed with clear and vivid ideas to achieve the company’s success.

BE-DO-HAVE, succeed in sales:

JULY 06, PENINZULA HOTEL MAKATI CITY. Headed by their dynamic First Vice President Josie Lee, the Special Market group conducted a seminar-workshop boosting up the pride of its agents. Throughout this whole day of activity, attendees learned 3 important concepts to be successful: the BE, the DO and the HAVE. BE simply refers to the state of positivism. By having the “BE” frame of mind, one acquires his adversity quotient by not letting anything stand on his way in getting his goals. The “DO” refers to the process of transforming a definite mindset to the achievement of one’s goal through persevering actions, thus “HAVING” it.

John Agustin, event speaker, led some workshops aiming to develop inter and intrapersonal qualities through team building and group interactions. He also asked attendees to come up with their own sets of collage depicting their goals in the future. Attendees also got to watch movie clips showing the essence of the event such as “pursuit of happiness” and “coach carter.” Another interesting activity was when John came up with a contract cementing participant’s commitment in achieving their goals. On the last stretch of the day’s activity, Agustin challenged the attendees to build a paper bridge sturdy enough to transport a ping-pong ball from one point to another without the building members supporting it. The question is how will the 3 groups do that under time pressure and with only newspapers and tapes as materials? It tested the strategy, the teamwork and coordination, and lastly how fast each one can adapt in similar circumstances.

Another highlight of the event was the awarding held towards the end of the event. Marie Lee, Elizabeth Tiu, Jose Tiu, Cheryl Tan Chua received the awards for Monthly Sales Busters for the month  of June.

The Dream Team Awards for the 2nd Quarter were given to Marie Lee (Platinum), Elizabeth Tiu (Gold), Paul Chia (Gold) and  Cheryl Tan Chua(Silver) and Jose Tiu (Silver).

Another exciting category was the Tagaytay Treat wherein Marie Lee, Elizabeth Tiu, Cheryl Tan Chua, Jose Tiu, Geny Sia Fangre, Paul Chia, Romeo Llenado II, Andrew Tiu and Robert Tiu qualified for.

And lastly, Paul Chia, Marie Lee and Andrew Tiu get their tickets by qualifying to the much awaited, Bali Bon Voyage Sales drive.
