Premium should be paid on the due date indicated in your billing notice. The amount to be paid depends on the mode of payment agreed upon. You have a 31-day grace period from your due date to pay your premium to keep your policy in force.

Redating method - For policies that lapsed for more than six months but not more than three years from the last unpaid premium due date. Updating Method - For policies that lapsed within 3 years from the last unpaid premium due date.

Back to Top 9) When and how can I apply for a policy loan? If policy loans are allowed under your policy contract, and if your policy has available cash value, you can apply for a policy loan. You will be required to submit a "Request for Policy Loan Form" duly signed by you and the irrevocable beneficiary, if there is any, and at least 2 goverment-issued I.D.s for verification.

The amount of loan you can avail will be determined by the Benefits Administration Department of the company, taking into account any premiums due and other indebtedness under the policy. This loan amount shall not be greater than the current total cash values of the policy.
Back to Top 11) What is the current interest rate per annum for the policy loan? For Dollar denominated Policies: an 8% interest rate per annum will be charged in advance.For Peso denominated Policies a 10% interest rate per annum will be charged in advance.
Back to Top 12) How will I pay my policy loan? You can pay your policy loan anytime either partially or in full through your Financial Planner, any RCBC commercial bank or GLF branch nearest you.
Back to Top 13) What will happen if I don't pay my policy loan? Your loan will continue to incur interest at a specified interest rate. Once the outstanding loan plus interest exceeds the policy's cash value, the policy will lapse. In case of a death claim, the outstanding loan balance will be deducted from the proceeds due to the beneficiaries.
Back to Top 14) How can I change my beneficiaries? Addition or deletion of beneficiaries can be done through submission of the following requrements: - A fully accomplished "Request for Amendment Form" duly signed by the policyowner and all irrevocable beneficiaries, if there are any.
- Photocopies of valid IDs of all irrevocable beneficiaries.
- Photocopy of marriage certificate - for recently married individual who would like to include their spouse as one of their beneficiaries.
